4 Verticals and Variations

Four Verticals and Variations
Four Verticals is a very universal route concept and can be run by any offense with the use of MULTIPLE FORMATIONS and MULTIPLE PERSONNEL GROUPINGS. The basis of the play is to get OFFENSIVE PLAYERS to spots to SPREAD the FIELD. LANDMARKS are KEY
Attack the Sideline (LANDMARKS= Bottom of #'s)
Attack the Seam Areas (Down Hash Mark from 12-22 yards) (LANDMARK= 2 yards outside HASH)
Using a Vertical and Horizontal Stretch of the Defense
Quarterback Reads
This is a COVERAGE READ for your QB.
1-High
Horizontal Stretch on FS with Comebacks on outside vs. soft coverage
2-High
Vertical Stretch on MLB with MOFO-DIG and RB
