Quarterback Drills: Working your QB on the "RUN"

Why work your QB on the run?
Your QB must be prepared and developed to throw on the run. Whether it by design (QB Sprint out/Play-Action) or just the "pocket" breaking down your QB must be ready to throw on the run. 50 % of Drop back passes will be thrown from outside the pocket.
Key Coaching Points
1.Two hands on the ball in "carriage" position
2. Push back on ball 2-3 steps prior to releasing (to avoid a big movement)
3. Finish at your target if possible (momentum and force at target)
